Most commonly known as “Botox,” we offer a variety of neuromodulators including Botox®, Dysport® and Xeomin® to prevent and reduce the appearance of lines, wrinkles as well as for facial sculpting.

The active component of Botox, Dysport and Xeomin is Botulinum toxin type A. The injectable neurotoxin, which are often used to treat wrinkles that form as a result of our most frequent facial movements like smiling, frowning and squinting. The treatment works by blocking nerve impulses to the muscles that create these movements, causing them to relax, which will soften your expressions and reduce your wrinkles. They can also work to soften and sculpt the face and neck by decreasing unwanted muscle mass.

The most commonly treated areas are:

  • Furrow lines “Glabellar lines” (a.k.a. “elevens” or frown lines)

  • Wrinkles around the eyes, “crow’s feet”

  • Forehead creases

  • Corners of the mouth

  • Neck lines

  • Masseters or jaw muscles

While Botox Cosmetic, Dysport and Xeomin are all neurotoxins, they have key differences in formulations which can influence dosage and how quickly you can expect to see results. After a consultation with one of our board-certified dermatologists, we can determine which of these products is best for you depending on your anatomy and goals.

All three products are FDA approved and have been used safely and effectively for years. Results typically last 3-4 months.
