Dr. Sadeghpour is committed to improving the skin health of her patients and advancing the field through innovative clinical research. At Yale, she received and completed the NIH Clinical and Translational Science Award grant to study the role of immune system in mediating skin cancer. During her fellowship, she was involved in cutting-edge clinical research to bring new treatments to the market including the latest techniques in skin tightening using microneedling and radiofrequency, rosacea treatment, cellulite treatment, and tattoo removal. During that year, she was one of two national recipients for the ASDS Frederic Brandt Research Grant to conduct a randomized controlled trial using topical and laser therapy for treatment of melasma. Recently, her research looking into the safety of hyaluronic acid fillers received the Drs. Alastair and Jean Carruthers Research Award for the highest scoring Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery Research Abstract at the 2018 national ASDS meeting. In 2019, her and her group’s scientific abstract for novel tattoo removal technology won The Best of Session Abstract Award at the National American Society of Laser Surgery and Medicine Meeting.
